For those bold enough to venture beyond the imposing iron gates are rewarded with a baking bounty without parallel. Toothsome treats and mouth watering morsels adorn each of the fantastical rooms, accompanied by the finest leaf teas served in the most delicate of fine china.

Spectacularly strange and more than a little macabre the experience has been described as dreamlike, otherworldly, intoxicating, even somewhat sexual. But words alone do this sweet Elysium little justice. To truly appreciate the exquisite ecstasy on offer, one will need to take a trip down the rabbit hole. Just be prepared for a breathtaking ride. The Gentleman Bakerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01635120049116647903noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-297042251165931474.post-62478128771808079392013-04-03T02:01:41.193-07:002013-04-03T02:01:41.193-07:00We are running this comp for another week! The smell of amazing coffee wafts out of the door, enticing you in and the fabulous communal seating is really cosy and welcoming. A great city centre stop of for tea and cake. A really special spot with a great atmosphere. Try the peanut butter blondies, they are to die for!

Have posted to the page, and liked you both on Facebook and followed you on Twitter :)Sarah Barneshttp://www.bluedoorbakery.co.uknoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-297042251165931474.post-64890042270240799742013-03-25T05:44:08.428-07:002013-03-25T05:44:08.428-07:00Thanks so much for the lovely write up!

Especially if it means we get to try more! ;-)Jenhttp://www.greatcakeplaces.com/blog.aspxnoreply@blogger.com
